I posted a journal entry about taking the self-portraits of people that have taken a brand new fresh picture (not posted on Buzz already) and then I'd take it and put my effects stamp on it. Enjoy! If you want to join the fun, send me a message and I will send you my e-mail...
All photos should be at least head shots (duh). No head wear.. keep your hair down and shoot that pic! Send to me and I'll do ya' up... Oh, and if possible, keep the background as clear as possible. Up against a one color wall is preferable. That's how I do my self-portraits... *-)

This is what I wrote for my BuzzBro JMC (Joe) on the other photo site:
"Joe is a man with a true gift for capturing scenes that inspire and invoke awe. His pictures of NYC floor me consistently but his talent doesn't stop there... He can capture anything and everything and make it look special. That is why I am jealous of him and look forward to stealing his camera when he comes to Chicago next time! *-) Enjoy his photos."
Every so often, I tease him about his beat poet, artistic cool and yet down-to-earth vibe combined with his "handsome bastard" good looks. HIs original photo submission to me was pretty easy to bring out the structure of his face and the strength of his eyes. As you look at this pic, don't be intimidated by that dangerous look. Joe is a class act sweetheart and the type of guy that I would love to set him up with one my sisters (but my family is crazy) or one of my friends (Eileen - who looks like Michelle Pfeiffer - but E is married...dammit).
He's in my top friends list (I feel so MySpace right now)... Go check his stuff out.
