I posted a journal entry about taking the self-portraits of people that have taken a brand new fresh picture (not posted on Buzz already) and then I'd take it and put my effects stamp on it. Enjoy! If you want to join the fun, send me a message and I will send you my e-mail...
All photos should be at least head shots (duh). No head wear.. keep your hair down and shoot that pic! Send to me and I'll do ya' up... Oh, and if possible, keep the background as clear as possible. Up against a one color wall is preferable. That's how I do my self-portraits... *-)

Impressions of Funksteena -
I get this sense of artistic daring...wanting to push the visual envelope...an intelligent and vibrant soul.
When I read her profile description, I see the tell-tale signs of the futuristic... neocoolishness.
I have been a "friend" of hers for the last few months and I have to say the journey through her photos has been an enjoyable one. I look forward to many more trips there.
This piece was put together from one of two photos that she sent me. I opted for the one that had a little bit more of a challenge with light spatterings... I envisioned kind of a funky futuristic... then, as I thought that to myself, that clinched the deal. Her eyes are mesmerising with a bit of danger and mystique... so I wanted to make this one tough, liduid-like and sexy... Of course, those were the goals but my skills can only do so much.
